Southampton Incident

Saugeen Shores a police took multiple calls in the Town of Southampton where residents had arrived home to discover their homes had been entered and items were moved around or located out on their lawns.
Police attended the area, spoke with several community members and reviewed security camera footage which helped identify a person involved.
Officers were able to locate a female in the area who appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis. She was placed under apprehension and transported to the Southampton Hospital for an assessment.
The investigation is ongoing.
