It is with deep sadness that the Saugeen Shores Police Service announces the passing of Auxiliary Police Constable Catherine Thomas, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Catherine is remembered as a valued member of both our police family and the community she proudly served.

Catherine joined the auxiliary ranks in early 2024 and demonstrated dedication, professionalism and compassion in every aspect of her volunteer service.

Our deepest condolences are expressed to her husband, children and extended family in their time of loss.
