Victim ServicesVictims Services Bruce Grey and Owen Sound Mission Statement In partnership with Emergency Services & Community Agencies, we provide immediate support to victims of crime and tragic circumstance. Trained Victim Services Volunteer Responders provide short term crisis intervention 24/7 for people who have experienced: · Sudden death · Partner abuse · Stalking · Elder abuse · Property crime · Fire · Motor vehicle collision · Assault As a responder, you will provide support and referrals to people in crisis in our community. We ask for a commitment of 12 hours a week on an on-call basis. Responders work in teams of two, delivering service either on-scene or over the telephone as the circumstance requires. We provide a comprehensive 40 hour Core Training Program giving you the skills to make a difference in your community.
